UPDATED INFORMATION

coolWe have decided on the final location for our spectacular salsa bonfire! It will be held at Bolsa Chica State Beach. cool
We are going to try and get one of the first fire pits on the north end of the beach at Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Hwy. This will hopefully allow some of our members to get free parking behind the Jack in the Box on that corner. We cannot guarantee that there will be free parking spots available so we still strongly recommend carpooling. Parking on the State Beach lot was just increased last weekend to $15 per car!

DIRECTIONS TO THE BONFIRE:

traveling SOUTHbound on the 405

exit Seal Beach Blvd (toward Los Alamitos)
left on Seal Beach Blvd
left on Pacific Coast Hwy
** to look for free parking - turn right on Warner - & park smile
** to park @ the State Beach – pass Warner & enter into first parking lot entrance (right-hand side) – park at the end of the parking lot (near the corner of Warner Ave & PCH) smile

traveling NORTHbound on the 405
exit Warner Avenue West (toward Magnolia)
merge onto Warner Ave
** to look for free parking - take Warner Ave all the way to the end (past Pacific Coast Hwy) - & park smile
** to park @ the State Beach – take Warner Ave & make a left on Pacific Coast Hwy & enter into first parking lot entrance (right hand side) – park at the end of the parking lot (near the corner of Warner Ave & PCH)smile

We’re very excited to announce that we are working on bringing you an event where we can socialize, eat, play and dance with fellow members and their children on the beach!!! (If you don’t have any kids you can still join in on the fun!!)
It will be a pot-luck style event where everyone will be asked to bring food and/or drink to share. If you have additional items, such as tables, games, wood etc. that would be great too!! 

This family friendly bonfire will be held in the Bolsa Chica/Huntington/Newport Beach area (to be announced later).

We will be arriving at the beach early in the morning to hold a fire pit. At that time we will be sending out a text to inform all RSVP’s of the exact location. So please make sure you provide us with your cell phone number or you will not be able to find us!!!

Since we will be there all day you are more than welcome to come early and spend the day with us. However you will be responsible for your own food throughout the day.

When you RSVP please post what item(s) you will bring and your cell phone number (you can email if you would like it to be confidential).
This event will only be as good as the participants make it so please only RSVP if you are 100% sure you can make it.

We hope everyone is ready for a fun evening!

This is a great opportunity to chat with members without being hypnotized towards the dance floor by every other song that overwhelms you :) but wait... did someone say music and a dance floor??? Still, it's the perfect opportunity to better know all of you and your loved ones. Looking forward, hope everyone comes out-

Thank you everyone for coming out yesterday. The food was great, the company was awesome, and I actually enjoyed the weather too! My children and I had so much fun! We will need to do this again (but earlier in the day).

It was awesome! The only downfall was when they closed the beach & would not let anyone in for a few hours. However, when everyone was able to come in we had a blast. Family, good friends, & good food made the evening memorable!
    •  Just like the last time, this group made us feel like we were old friends! They even went out of their way to find a solution to the parking shortage at the beach. It was a fabulous evening! Thanks everybody!
